MAC-V SOG Ruger Mark 1 Target

During the Vietnam conflict Green Beret Special forces were given missions in places we were not technically supposed to be like Cambodia. In order to have plausible deniability they carried sanitized equipment whenever possible. Among the items they used was a CIA version of the Ruger MK-1 target pistol. An early type of suppressor was used for the Phoenix program and in the field. Also used were Bushnell Featherlight binoculars and Seiko watches without markings. In many cases the SOG soldiers purchased the items they needed with their own funds. I finally picked up the binoculars and the civilian version of the Ruger MK-1 (1965) and since they fought directly against Combloc weapons felt it was appropriate to post it here.
